I just received my advanced copy of the most recent volume (v. 41:1) of the photographic journal Exposure, which happens to contain my latest review! It should be hitting your mailboxes soon. If you don’t get Exposure you can visit the link above to find out how to order it!

I cover the Focal Press Encyclopedia of Photography, which is a wonderful 880 pages of photography in all its manifestations, and The Concise Focal Press Encyclopedia of Photography, which is, as its name suggests, a more focused look at photography from the perspective of media, art and academia. This volume of the journal also has a wonderful essay about Photography & Writing by Janet Zandy and includes an interview with two of the most important artists working today (who are among my absolute favorites): Mike & Doug Starn! Make sure to pickup a copy of Exposure and/or visit the links above!
